About Me
I am Denise White, a qualified, professional and experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and specialist Relationship Therapist.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I also hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and full Professional Liability Insurance.
I work with individuals and couples offering sessions
in person, online and by phone, from therapy rooms in Bournemouth and Poole.

I provide inclusive relationship therapy, whether you are living together, apart or independently; however you identify and whatever your sexuality. I am here to help you as a couple, as a single or as one half of a couple... sometimes partners are not ready, or feel unable, to engage in therapy.
During my practice as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, across a number of mental health settings in Dorset and Hampshire, I became increasingly more aware of how the quality of our relationships, past and present, affect our ability to live life to the full. I found myself drawn to a more relational style of practice and decided to pursue my interest, joining Relate to further my training, qualify and practice as a specialist Relationship Therapist. I continue helping couples and individuals improve the quality of their relationships with Relate, alongside my private practice.
In addition to working with mental health, relationship and general life issues, I am a qualified and practiced alcohol, drug and addiction therapist, a grief and bereavement counsellor and life coach.
